Fairfield, Australia (AINA) -- The Fairfield city council unanimously passed a motion yesterday acknowledging the cultural symbols of the various immigrant communities in Fairfield, and to allow their use on special occasions. Among the symbols was the Assyrian flag.

New Book About the Assyrian Genocide Published

(AINA) -- A new book on the Turkish genocide of Assyrians has been published by Berghahn Books. The book, titled Let Them Not Return - Sayfo -- The Genocide Against the Assyrian, Syriac, and Chaldean Christians in the Ottoman Empire, was edited by David Gaunt, Naures Atto, and Soner O. Barthoma.
