
The day's celebrations are set to begin in the morning with a Divine Liturgy at 9 AM, attended by Syriac Orthodox Archbishop of Tur Abdin Mor Timotheos Samuel Aktaş, amid broad participation from residents of neighboring villages and towns and members of the faithful.
The events will continue at 11 AM with the official inauguration of the main hall of the new cultural center, which is regarded as an important social and cultural project for the residents of the village and its surrounding areas.
The celebration will also feature a variety of social and folkloric activities, including traditional food and drinks, music, and folk dances, in an atmosphere reflecting the spirit of love and cooperation among the people of the region.
Residents of the neighboring town of Arkah also expressed their support for and participation in the occasion, wishing Badibe continued prosperity and blessings. They described the opening of the cultural center as an important step toward strengthening social ties and preserving the cultural and heritage identity of the Syriac people in Tur Abdin.
Those overseeing the project expressed hope that the new cultural center will serve as a shared space for religious, social, and cultural activities, contributing to stronger community ties and helping preserve the region's heritage and longstanding traditions.
