Earlier this year, unknown people graffitied a Kurdish flag and other slogans on the 2300 year old ancient Assyrian ruin in Nohadra, in the extreme north of Iraq (AINA 2016-02-23). A team consisting of Dr. Ezabella and Dr. Luigi Torre from the Udine University in Italy have volunteered to remove the vandalism. The delicate process is expected to fully recover the site to its original state before the graffiti of the Kurdish flag and the slogans.
