Book on Assyrian Bas-relief Sculptures Released

The book is one of the few references specifically considering Ashuri sculptures.

"I have considered parts of the Mesopotamian architecture during the Assyrian empire," said the book's author in an interview with IBNA.

As she said, the issues has been generally considered in many other historical books, but the books is one of a very few titles considering Assyrian arts and architecture. Moreover, in the foreword section of the book, a detailed review of the historical geography of Assyrians has been provided.

She went on to say that she referred to books and 3d pictures of the sculptures for her book. As she said, almost all of the sculptures are being kept at great museums in Europe.

The book is arranged in 87 pages and is published by Nasang publications.
