Fairfield, Australia -- The Assyrian/American superstar Linda George and famous artist Sargon Gabriel, stunned more than 800 people at last night's concert, the last of her Australian tour for 2009.

More than 5000 people witnessed three live concerts over three weeks. Linda who's music is about unity, peace and harmony captured the hearts of the young and old at the Edessa reception centre at Greenfield Park. The crowds enjoyed folkloric dances, chanted and dozens swarmed the stage for photos.

The night was also to commemorate Assyrian singing legend Sargon Gabriel for his 40th anniversary as a national artist. Sargon and Linda shocked the crowd when they performed a rare duet together three hours into the concert.

Linda also hit charts in the Middle East after her Arabic album featuring the song "Im Free" dedicated to the Iraqi people. She also has an english album.

She started singing as a child in the church choir 30 years ago, and is now one of the best Assyrian superstars worldwide.
