Chicago (AINA) -- The Patriarch of the Chaldean Church of Babylon (a Roman Catholic uniate), Mar Emanuel III Dally and the Patriarch of the Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East, Mar Dinkha IV, met in Chicago on June 17th.

The two Patriarchs exchanged cordial speeches in which they expressed their agreement that their parishioners are one people and must be unified with the Church of Rome.

Earlier in the week, A coalition of Assyrian political and cultural organizations sent a letter to the Patriarchs, urging them to continue and expand the dialog between their churches.
