(AINA) -- The electronic version of Mr. Awia Oraha's Banipal Dictionary has been launched at Banipal Assyria Dictionary. The dictionary initially contains 3896 words in Assyrian, English and Arabic. According to Awia Oraha, the developer, the dictionary will be continuously expanded to increase the word list.

(AINA) -- A new book has been published on the Armenian, Assyrian and Greek genocide perpetrated by Ottoman Turkey between 1915 and 1918, in which 750,000 Assyrians were killed (75%), one million Greeks and 1.5 million Armenians. The book, written by Iranian born bishop Edik Baroni of the Armenian Church, is available on Amazon.
(AINA) -- Nineveh Software Corporation (NSC) has opened to the public the third round of testing for Babylon, a complete word processor for Assyrian, English and other languages. NSC is the parent company of the Assyrian International News Agency. Babylon is written in Java and runs on Windows, Macintosh and Linux computers, and any other operating system which supports Java.
Chicago (AINA) -- The Maine Township High School District. 207 board of education, which serves suburbs northwest of Chicago, has added an Assyrian language course to its curriculum. The district operates schools in Park Ridge, Des Plaines, Glenview, Harwood Heights, Morton Grove, Niles, Norridge, Rosemont, and Norwood Park Township.
